FINAL PROJECT YMCA PRIEGO

In this week we have studied about the environment with new friends from Barcelona.

This week has been very funny and we have practised a lot of activities.

The monitors are fantastic people.

The water day was a beautifull day because the excursion was great.

FRIDAY IS THE HUMAN IMPACT DAY

Yesterday for dinner we had:
Starters: legums cream
Main course: chicken wings
Dessert: flan
and marshmellows in the fire and biscuits with chocolate.

After dinner we play a funny game called: Quiz Show.
Today is the human impact day and we see a presentation of three countries: USA, Ghana and Australia because three monitors come from there.

Next we have lunch.

Starters: macaroni
Main course: roast turkey
Dessert: rice with milk
Then we have free time and finally we go to class and we make a presentation of a political party.
At the end we vote for the best political party.

THURSDAY IS FAUNA DAY

Yesterday for dinner we had:
Starters:Fish soap
Main course:"Empanadillas" and meatroll with salad
Dessert: Yoghurt.

After dinner we play a funny game called "gimkana".
Today is the fauna day and we have a short excursion by bus. Then we see a documentary of fauna. Next we have lunch.

Starters:Chinesse rice
Main course: Fish and salad
Dessert: Custard
Then we have free time and finally we go to class and we make a theatre.

WEDNESDAY IS FLORA DAY

Yesterday for dinner we have:

-Starters:Russian salad
-Main couse: Salad and cordon blue
-Dessert:Strawberry yoghurt

After we play a game: Party & Co. In the game there are : Pictionary, Create a story, Mime a film and Taboo.
At night Didrey, the Australian teacher, explains a story from her country.

Today we go to a short excursion .
Santi(teacher) talk us about flora in the forest.

Then we watch a video about the process of honey and after we play funny game: Egg drop.

For lunch we have:

-Starters: Beans
-Main coure: Chips and pig.
-Dessert: Chocolate pudding.

After we have free time. We play basket, football, rugby and make a bracelet.

And then we have class.

TUESDAY IS THE WATER DAY

Yesterday for dinner we ate:

-Starters: zuchinni cream
-Main course: salad and Spanish omelette
-Dessert: pudding of chocolate

After dinner we play: "CLUE GAME""

Today we go hiking to the river Escabas.
We learn the parts of the river: pool, rapids, meander, swirl...
and we play a game: "water cycle"

We return to camp, and we have lunch:
-Starters: rice with fish
-Main course: veal with chips
-Dessert: banana

After lunch we have free time.
At 4 o'clock we start the class and we're making project about the Earth/triple-R.
Today is a tired day but very funny.

MONDAY IS THE EARTH DAY

In the morning we have a class.
We learn how to use a compass and a map, about minerals, Earth facts, Scavenger hunt and start our project.
The lunch menu is:
Starters: Macarroni,
Main course: Chicken and chips
Dessert: Flan.
After lunch we have free time.
Some people go to candy shop.
In the afternoon we have another class.
After class we have a snack and then we have a class with Maria del Mar and Manolo and
we write this post.
The excursion in the morning is fantastic because we look for twenty things and we have got 18!

THE FIRST DAY

We start the trip at 12 o'clock at school in the morning.
In the bus we watch films and listen to music too.
We stop for lunch at half past two in Campillo de Altobuey.
When we arrive to Priego the monitors of the camp give us a welcome and we are happy.
We like when they say who we are staying with in the cabin.
